Agreement to Terms

By downloading, installing, or using Spento ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

Spento is a personal expense tracking application that allows users to record and categorize expenses using voice input and manual entry. The App includes features for expense organization, budgeting, analytics, and data export.

User Accounts

To access certain features of the App, you may need to create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the App for any illegal purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the App's functionality
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App
  • Use the App to store or transmit malicious code
  • Resell or redistribute the App without authorization

Subscriptions and Payments

Spento offers subscription-based access to premium features. By subscribing, you agree to:

  • Pay the applicable subscription fees
  • Automatic renewal unless cancelled before the renewal date
  • Manage subscriptions through your Apple ID account settings

Refunds are handled according to Apple's App Store policies. We do not process refunds directly.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Spento and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

Your Content

You retain ownership of your expense data and any content you create within the App. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process and store your data solely for the purpose of providing the service.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or meet your specific requirements. The App is for personal expense tracking and should not be relied upon for official financial or tax purposes.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Spento shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of data, profits, or business opportunities, arising from your use of the App.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time for violation of these terms or for any other reason at our discretion. You may stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it and cancelling any active subscriptions.

Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms of Service at any time. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified terms. We encourage you to review these terms periodically.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles.
